  1. Wash and Soak Tuvar dal for about 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Boil Dal along with tomatoes and little Haldi. After boiling mash it well.
  3. Take tadka pan. Add little oil. Add Mustard seeds, jeera, Red Chilli whole, hing, green chillies and peanuts. Now add ginger garlic paste. When mustard seeds splutters add to mashed Dal.

  5. Now add gurd/jaggery, curry patta along with little tarmind pulp. Adjust salt into it.
  6. Let this boil till chappati turns soft. Now Dal Dhokli is ready to be serve. Add green coriander leaves for garnishing.
  7. Serve them hot as if it turns cold chappatis will stick to it.
