  1. 500 g cauliflower
  2. 1 cup gram flour(besan)
  3. 1 Green chilli finaly chooped
  4. 1 inch Ginger grated
  5. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tsp Dry mango powder
  7. 1/2 tsp Whole coriander
  8. 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  9. to taste Salt
  10. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  12. as needed Oil for frying
  13. For gravy
  14. 1 onion finely chooped
  15. 2 tomatoeos
  16. 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  17. 1 Green chilli finaly chooped
  18. 1 inch ginger grated
  19. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  20. 1/4 tsp asofedieda
  21. 1 bay leaf
  22. 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  23. 2 tsp coriander powder
  24. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  25. 1/2 tsp Dry mango powder
  26. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  27. to taste Salt
  28. 1 tbsp tomato puree
  29. 1 tbsp oil

Steps to make to make Cauliflower kofta

  1. Cauliflower cut into the small pieces.add cauliflower in mixer grinder and grind coarsely.
  2. For koftas :-Add grated cauliflower in a bowl. Now add 1 cup of gram flour, 1 green chilli, grated ginger 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, less than 1/2 tsp Add salt, 1/2 tsp carom seeds and 1/2 tsp whole coriander and 1/2 tsp garam masala and mix well. Add more besan if required.
  3. Mix them well and shape in to the round balls.
  4. Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown on medium flame and keep aside.
  5. For the curry:heat the oil add cumin seeds, Asafoetida and bay leaf and stir few seconds. Now add finely chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes or till they turn golden brown.Add garlic and saute.
  6. In a mixer grinder add 2 tometos, green chilli and 1inch ginger and grind it.
  7. Add the tomato paste and fry very well also add 1 tbsp tomato puree and mix well.Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and fry the spices till the oil starts on top of the masala.
  8. Now add water according to how thick or thin you want the gravy and mix it. Now Cover the gravy and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. After 4 minutes gravy is ready add garam masala powder and mix it.
  9. Add koftas and mix it. let it cook for 3-4 minutes and turn off the flame. Now is ready.
  10. Serve cauliflower kofta curry with hot chapati or rice.
