- To make stuffing
- Wash and soak moong dal for 2-3 hrs.
- Boil the dal till half cooked. Remove from fire keep aside.
- In a pan heat ghee.add hing cumin and fennel seeds.
- Add besan and roast on slow flame till it turns aromatic. Add dal mix.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and salt.
- Mix and cook for five minutes. Remove from fire and keep aside.
- Make covering. In large bowl add maida and salt mix well.
- Pou in hot ghee and mix. make dough by adding water.
- Cover and rest for 10 mnts.
- Take a small ball size portion and roll.place small portion of stuffing in middle cover and seal.
- Again roll gently.
- Heat oil in pan.fry kachori on low flame.
- Fry until kachori turns golden brown.
- Remove. serve hot with chutney.
