- 250 gms jackfruit seeds
- 3 tbsp mustard oil
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 onion
- 5-6 garlic cloves
- 1& 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 6-7 black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 2 chilli
- 1/2 tsp kasmiri mirch powder
- 3 tbsp tomato puree (grind tomato till smooth)
- 1 tsp Salt or to taste

- Firstly, peel off Jackfruit seeds. Add the seeds, 1/2tsp salt, and 1/2cup water in a pressure cooker and cook until one whistle. Let it come to room temperature. Drain the water and cut the seeds into halves.
- Meanwhile, in a grinding jar add onion, mustard seeds, garlic, coriander seeds, black pepper, chilli and mango powder, grind all together till smooth. Add water as required. Keep it ready.
- Heat 1tbsp oil in a kadhai, add seeds, stir and cook for 2-3 minutes. Keep the flame on medium. Add 1/2tsp turmeric powder and 1/4tsp salt, stir and cook for 3-4 minutes or until seeds turn golden brown. Remove the seeds from kadhai. Keep it aside.
- Heat 2tbsp oil in the same kadhai. Add prepared masala paste, Kashmiri Mirch powder, and 1/2tsp turmeric powder, stir and cook for 3-4 minutes. Keep the flame on low-medium. Further, add tomato puree and salt to taste. Stir often and cook until masalas released oil.
- Now, add seeds in masala. Mix well and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Add 1/2cup water, cover then cook for 4-5. Turn off the flame. Add chopped coriander leaves and chili.
- Jackfruit seeds curry is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice or roti. Enjoy 😊.
