- 1/2 cup urad dal

- As required green chutney
- 3 tbsps sev
- as per need Oil for deep frying
- Pinch asafoetida
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp chili ginger paste
- As required Chopped coriander
Steps to make to make Dahi Vada
- Wash& soak both dal for 5-6 hours,after 5 hours remove water from dal,grind soaked dal without water with garlic cloves.
- Make a smooth paste,add green chili ginger paste,in a bowl mix dal paste with salt,pinch asafoetida,mix everything well mix with fingers for 5-7 minutes make a soft & thick batter.
- In a frying pan heat oil for frying,fry the vadas on medium flame till little golden brown,take it out in a plate.
- Now mix sugar in curd make a smooth consistency.In a big bowl add water put vadas for 15-20 minutes.make mango- dates chutney.
- Make green chutney,after 20 minutes take vadas from water press slightly put in a serving plate,pour curd with help of spoon,then green chutney,mango chutney,sprinkle salt,black salt,cumin powder,red chili powder,garnish with sev & coriander.Healthy tasty mouth watering dahivada is ready
