- 3 cup rice
- 3/4 cup urad dal

- 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds

- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or tamarind pulp
- 4-5 boiled potatoes
- 1 tbsp amchur( dry mango) powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 3 tsp Fresh coriander chopped
Steps to make to make Mysore street style podi dosa
- For dosa batter _wash and soak dal, rice,fenugreek seeds in enough water and soak about 4 to 5 hour. After soaked properly grind it with fenugreek seeds and poha in grinder jar,make smooth batter and cover with lid and rest about 8 to 10 hour or over night in a warm place for fermentation.
- For stuffing masala - In a voke add oil when hot add hing and mustard seeds when cracked add chana dal,urad dal,curry leaves,stir 1 minute now add chopped onions saute 2 min now add spices and boiled mashed potatoes. Add gun powder and mix well.
- Mash properly and add lemon juice or tamarind pulp and sprinkle green coriander chopped. podi masala ready.
- For dosa - heat nonstick tawa sprinkle some water to tempring heat.when water evaporates pour spoonfuls of batter spread on tawa properly. Apply oil or butter cook 2 min now spread gun powder and spoonfuls aloo stuffing and cook until bottom side golden brown in texture.
- Fold dosa and serve with coconut chutney,idli and sambhar as you like.
