  1. Soak Kabuli chana in hot water for 6-7 hours. After 7 hours, remove water from Chana. Now, put chana in cooker and add 1.5 glass of water. Add cloves, cinnamon stick, teabag and bayleaf. Boil chana with 4 whistles. Remove spices.
  2. Now, take a bowl and mix dhania jira powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chole masala and amchur powder properly. Keep it aside.
  3. Take a pan and add 2 tablespoon of oil. Then add cumin seeds, onion and tomato pieces, garlic cloves, ginger paste and green chillies. Add little salt to cook veggies.
  4. Now, add 1 tablespoon of combined masalas and little water in the veggies and again cook them by covering lid. let the mixture cool and grind it in the mixture grinder.
  5. Take a pan and add 3 tablespoons of oil and vegetable paste and saute at slow flame for 3-4 minutes. Now, add remaining combined masalas and cooked chole.
  6. Add salt and kasuri methi in Chole and let it cook for 5-6 minutes. Now, take a tadka pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 chopped green chilli, 2-3 chopped garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of combined masala. Put tadka in Chole.
  7. The last step is to smash chole with masher for a good taste. Add fresh coriander leaves and serve with Tawa butter roti.
